Dearest Erika......

This letter is long overdue. I was touched, as always, with our talk today. You have done so much for me in healing my life.....physically and emotionally. I had gone through one recurrance, with a long illness this past winter that had all the earmarks of another...... Pills that I used to take daily, I no longer have need for. These counted in over 35 a day........all herbal, but still......was this what I was reduced to doing to have any resemblance of normalcy???? These were used to compensate for deficiencies caused by injected radiation from ovarian cancer 17 years ago. Extreme water retention caused again by that treatment forced me in the past to taking constant water pills and poor eating habits. I hesitated to even drink much water to compound the problem even further. Dressing for work became a loathsome task, as I had no idea what I could fit into almost hourly. I dressed in clothing several sizes larger, not because of being fat, but due to swelling in the abdomen had to conceal it, as best I could. Today, I rarely if ever have that problem. I do not take all the pills anymore as I do not have the symptoms anymore. BECAUSE of you! I had lost so much hair due to chemical treatmens with my cancer, and stress......I had noticeable hair loss, especially in the crown area. Today, my hairdresser has commented that my hair is so much thicker, that we have to change how the hair is cut. She is amazed at the transformation.....IN FIVE MONTHS TIME.....my hair is growing, and is growing at a rapid pace. I fought extreme anxiety.....which is now gone......forever. I am learning to live my life without fear.....which I have done since a child...Extreme fear, manipulation, and abuse from my Mother, that I learned in adulthood, I ALLOWED.........I am able to be more responsive to everything around me....colors especially! I used to tolerate green and orange....actually, I used to hate orange and red.......I now embrace those colors.....still my favorite, though, is anything in the purple range....I am learning how to be responsible for my life, and not stay in the victim or rescuer position..........I am also opening up the 'pyschic' part of myself.....feeling things and seeing things that before, I doubted. I am grateful to the universe for placing you in my pathway in life......for opening up my worlds........to achieve what I thought I could not, and would not, deserve.

In short, this is a formal thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for enriching and saving my life. I wish to continue our sessions together, and also want to learn more of REIKI and ESSENTIAL OILS. I have been through numerous types of psychotherapy, with dismal results. I really thought that the way my life was ....was the way it was supposed to be. I now realize that anything is possible, and that I am the one who steers my life...not others.

"Dear Erika, I don't think I could truly express to you how grateful I am for having you as my core counselor. I remember just a few short weeks ago, looking at my life and not particularly enjoying what was happening in it and where my life was heading.

The funny thing is that from outside appearances I seemed to have it all, a dream job, a beautiful house, a loving family, and all the things that many people lack and desperately want. I had everyone fooled except for the person that mattered the most, myself.

I read the books, played the tapes, and repeated the affirmations, none of it seemed to help. I even took the pills that the Doctors gave me and bought into their diagnosis of what "was wrong with me" and used that diagnosis as an excuse to stay stuck.
